In 2022, becoming “that girl” is all the rage. We see it all over TikTok and Instagram. I personally think being “that girl” is different for everyone because we all have different goals and ideas of what our perfect life is. I truly believe that we are all capable of achieving anything we decide to and creating the life of our dreams. This is something I am working towards consistently and I think having a vision board is essential to keeping those goals top of mind. So, I am going to walk you through how to make a digital vision board. I prefer a digital one because I set it as my phone wallpaper so I see it several times per day. This helps me stay focused towards what I want to achieve.
Step 1: decide on goals and visions
I think it is helpful to write out goals on paper so you can commit them to memory. I also like to set timelines for my goals each year so I know what to prioritize when. I think 8-10 goals for a calendar is reasonable, and you want to spread these out across various areas of your life. Think: personal, professional, spiritual, physical, etc.
Step 2: gather photos from pinterest or canva images that represent your goals
It is so easy to find photos on Pinterest these days, so definitely check there, especially if you want to make your vision board “aesthetic” with a color scheme. I used Canva for my images and graphics but I have the pro version so there are more options.
Step 3: put the images together in a collage in canva
Select a blank phone wallpaper and add your images. It can be tricky getting all of your images to fit, so take time to play around with this! You can layer the images to make them all fit beautifully onto the wallpaper.
Step 4: add text about each goal or vision
I add a simple 3-5 word text over each image so I can have that extra reminder of what I am working towards. Use a minimal but consistent text so that it looks nice but doesn’t distract from the images.
Step 5: download your image and set as your wallpaper!
I will attach my vision board for 2022 here so you can have an example of what it looks like! These goals are specific to me and any goal that stretches you is great! You can even do just one goal on your vision board, it will still be effective to see it every day!
