A Girls’ Night Essential: Spicy Margaritas at home!

July 27, 2021 How To

It seems like tequila drinks are the hot topic right now for young cocktail connoisseurs. Between Ranch Water and Spicy margaritas, tequila is queen! In this post I’m teaching you how to make the most delicious spicy margaritas from home. These will be perfect for girls night, or even to drink on a hot day by the pool! Grab your tequila and taco kit and lets get going!

Okay, so here’s how to make these delicious margaritas at home! I adapted this recipe from allrecipes.com. I was inspired to learn how to make this drink after having a delicious Jalapeno Cucumber margarita at SOL, a Mexican restaurant that I featured in my Charleston, SC restaurants post. I’ll link it here!

Ingredients

1/2 cup tequila- We use Hornitos

1/2 cup lime margarita mix

1/4 cup orange liqueur- We use Gran Gala

1/4 cup simple syrup- aka sugar water

1 jalapeno pepper

4 slices of cucumber

Instructions

After you’ve gathered all of the ingredients, mix the tequila, margarita mix, orange liqueur and simple syrup together. Cut the jalapeno and cucumber slices to the mixture and refrigerate until it’s time to serve them!

You can’t have a girls night without some cute drinkware to show off your new cocktail! Some important items we use to make these margaritas are shown here. I am rounding up some cute glassware that will make your bar cart look like a fiesta every day!

I looked around for some cute serving options for this tasty drink! I’ve linked some glasses and pitchers so that you can have a true fiesta with your new margarita recipe!
